Position: Field Service Specialist
Starting Wage: Comensurate with candidate's skills, qualifications, and past work experience, as it pertains to the services required by the position.
In addition to possible increases in wages based on merit and performance, employees can expect a cost of living wage increase every year.
Hours: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week, Monday-Friday, with additional time as required while on site.
Paid Time Off: 15 PTO days which includes personal, vacation, and sick days.
Travel: Field Service Specialists can typically expect to travel two weeks a month. Monday thru Friday with occasional weekend travel as required for project demands.

This full-time role is a combination of working in RDP's fabrication shop wiring and testing control panels, shop inspections (UL Approved Shop), and traveling to job sites for inspection and commissioning services of installed RDP systems. Generally, there will be 2-3 start-up trips per project. Each trip will be one week at a time, Monday- Friday. RDP will provide on the job training on our systems. RDP will teach you the specific skills and techniques for the successful completion of each project, which is largely based on troubleshooting motors, valves, hydraulics and actuators. Must have some experience with coordination of fieldwork as RDP is the equipment supplier and works closely with the installing contractor.

Key functions of the job include, but are not limited to:
- Working with general contractor personnel while on site to achieve project objectives
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical components
- Training of Municipality's staff on proper operation and maintenance of RDP systems
- Completion of company commissioning documentation
- Wiring of system control panels both within the fabrication shop and in the field
- Inspection of RDP fabricated equipment as per company design drawings
- Marshaling of shipments being received and forwarded from our facility
- Interaction with RDP Electrical Engineers and Project Managers to keep project on schedule
