Summary:
Prepares and cooks meals for Clients, Client Families, and Facility Staff. Cleans and maintains equipment and kitchen and dining areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
• Cooks foodstuffs in quantities according to menu and number of persons to be served.
• Washes dishes, cleans dining room, set dining room.
• Bakes breads and pastry.
• Cuts meat.
• Helps with the planning of menu taking advantage of foods in season and local availability.
• Serves meals.
• Helps orders supplies and keeps records and accounts.
• Puts away deliveries and keep all food and kitchen supplies in designated areas.
• Keeps areas clean and up to code standards and organized.
• Stays up to date on Daily Logs.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One to three years related experience and/or training.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Human Resource systems; Internet software and Order processing systems.
