Join our dynamic team as a Sorter, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining an efficient and organized operation. As a Sorter, you'll be responsible for carefully handling materials and ensuring that items are sorted accurately to support our manufacturing and waste management processes. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will help keep operations running smoothly and contribute to our commitment to environmental responsibility and safety.

Responsibilities

• Separate electronic items and sort components (like metal and plastics) for proper recycling or disposal.
• Use wire cutters to cut cables from items.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve overall efficiency in sorting.
• Follow all safety guidelines related to OSHA regulations and proper use of mechanical tools to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a warehouse environment for at least 6 months.
• Physical ability to stand for long hours on your feet, lifting, bending, and pushing or pulling up to 30lbs.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment that may involve exposure to noise and dust.
• Ability to accurately identify different types of material and maintain record.
• Excellent organizational skills for accurate sorting of material.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining safety standards at all times.
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use.
• English speaking- understanding spanish is a plus.

Pay: $16.60 - $17.00 per hour
