Job Summary
Join our dynamic construction team as a Traffic Control Technician where you will play a vital role in ensuring safety and smooth traffic flow around active construction sites. This for an immediate hiring need! Occasional night and/or weekend work may be required.
Responsibilities
- Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic around construction zones using clear hand signals, signs, and flagging equipment.
- Maintain constant awareness of construction activities and communicate effectively with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Set up appropriate signage, barriers, and warning devices to alert drivers and pedestrians of upcoming hazards or detours.
- Monitor site conditions continuously, adjusting traffic control measures as needed to accommodate changing worksite activities.
- Deliver traffic control equipment to job sites ensuring safe transport of equipment.
- Assist in pavement striping operations.
Experience
- Prior experience working as a traffic control flagger or in a construction-related role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate..
