Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Manager to assist RDH in managing the day-to-day operations of the business. Specifically, the right candidate will lead and oversee the field office and staff and participate in the implementation of traffic control, striping, and associated services. Qualified candidate must be a self-starter, organized in their approach, and excellent working with both clients and team members. Candidate must also be comfortable working without daily, on-site, supervision. Effective communication is a high priority for this position.
Daily Responsibilities Include
- Scheduling and organizing of traffic control installations
- Maintaining inventory and purchasing of traffic control equipment, line striping materials, and other supplies as required
- Regular correspondence with clients to maintain high service quality
- Job-site visits to meet with contractors and oversee installations as necessary
- Management of staffing including training, logging hours, and scheduling
- Physical assistance with installations when necessary
- Daily and/or weekly reporting to ownership
Qualifications Required
- Able to read construction documents including plans and specifications
- Two years experience managing construction and/or installation teams
- Experience on active construction sites and/or traffic work zones
- Computer skills including use of cloud-based software for communication, file storage
- High school diploma or GED (Four-year degree preferred)
Qualifications Preferred
- Knowledge of traffic control equipment and installation requirements
- Experience bringing complex projects to completion
