What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Utility Worker position at RdF Corporation?
RdF Corporation is seeking a Production Utility Worker for our manufacturing facility located in Hudson, NH. This individual must be able to work as part of a team to support production needs.
Responsibilities of the Production Utility Worker:
- Counts, sorts, and weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices. Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications, ensuring incoming material is correct in form, fit and function with the part numbering system.
- Conducts physical inventories on a routine schedule. Verifies inventory records and corrects discrepancies.
- Maintains stockroom database, updating records to show supplies and materials received and dispensed.
- Distributes storeroom materials in accordance with requisition forms.
- Processes daily, weekly, monthly reports for the stockroom and production control.
- Maintains continuous cycle count system according to procedures.
- Insures security of stockroom in accordance with established regulations.
- Moves or transports material or supplies to other departments.
- Tracks age control of chemicals and maintains master Safety Data Sheet (SDS) inventory.
- Prepares and packages parts according to written and/or verbal instruction. Packages product using proper labels, tags, and/or containers.
- Completes shipping/receiving duties.
- Assists with answering phones, data entry, and filing.
- Ensures work areas are kept clean and orderly.
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements of the Production Utility Worker:
- Applicants must have a high school degree.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Prior manufacturing/stockroom experience is a plus.
- Must be able to pass drug test and criminal background check.
This position is full-time, and offers a desirable 9/80 work schedule as shown below.
