REPORTING STRUCTURE:

Job Summary:   

The Pro Shop Attendant is responsible for the operation at The Pro Shop. Includes the greeting of all guests, assisting guests with questions regarding retail products and charging for all retail items purchased. The Pro Shop Attendant is responsible for stocking retail and keeping the area well-maintained and clean. A closing the sale on retail products to guests. They are responsible for maintaining the retail area of the Pro Shop in a clean and orderly manner and should be knowledgeable of the features and benefits of all retail offerings and promotions.  They must understand how to effectively recommend products to meet the needs of our guests.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Be on time for your shift.
• Properly open and close the Shop each day according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves The Pro Shop.
• Utilize computers with skill and proficiency.
• Maintain a Shop Desk Bank.
• Answer the phone promptly and use the guest’s name throughout the phone conversation.
• Maintain eye contact when addressing external and internal guests.
• Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked and well-organized work and retail area.
• Develop ability to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods of time.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment. 
• Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the Pro Shop.
• Be aware of any maintenance issues in the Pro Shop and report them to management.
• Assist in all areas of the Pro Shop operation as requested by management.
• Communicate to management all occurrences involving guests in the Pro Shop that require attention.

• Handle cash flow in the Pro Shop ensuring that cash, credit card and member charges are being rung in properly per Links at Perry Cabin policies and procedures. 
• Ensure that the Pro Shop, bag storage, food and beverage room and cart storage are maintained per Links at Perry Cabin cleanliness and appearance standards.   Maintain a neat, clean, and organized Pro Shop.
• Assist with physical inventory at the end of the month in accordance with inventory procedures. Be fully knowledgeable of Pro Shop merchandise. 
• Clean/restock comfort stations on a daily basis on the Golf Course.

• Creating, stocking and maintaining retail displays.

• Must possess basic math and money handling skills.

• Must promote, and lead by example a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of High School Degree
• Previous retail and/ or customer service experience preferred.
