Clinical Registered Dietitian to provide a quarterly visit!
Join the team at RD Nutrition Consultants LLC! We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Clinical Registered
Dietitian to provide vital nutritional care through quarterly on-site visits.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dietitian seeking a flexible schedule and
competitive compensation.
Schedule: Flexible
Hours: 8-hour on-site visit per
Quarter(25% Remote)
Compensation: $30.00-38.00 per hour DOE
Travel Reimbursement: Paid at the same hourly
rate for time traveling to and from the facility
Mileage Reimbursement: Paid at the current
federal mileage rate
Responsibilities:
- Participate
in quality improvement initiatives to enhance nutrition care services and
resident outcomes as needed.
- Review
and approve menu on a semi-annual basis to ensure it meets USDA guidelines
- Conduct
monthly kitchen sanitation audits, documenting findings and recommending
corrective actions to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
- Perform
other tasks as assigned and within scope of practice as needed.
- Identify
high-risk residents for periodic nutritional assessments
- Adheres
to all facility policy and procedure
Experience
& Qualifications:
- Bachelor's
or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an
accredited program.
- Registered
by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Current
state licensure/certification (if mandated by the state)
- Minimum
of 1 year clinical experience (preferred).
- Experience
with reviewing menus for facilities.
- Excellent
communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families,
and healthcare teams.
- Possesses
the ability to apply critical thinking to a variety of situations, assess
objectives, develop and implement and monitor effective plans for
improvement.
- Proficiency
in providing general nutrition
- Familiarity
with state survey processes and adhering to nutrition care regulations
