RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition consulting services for an Assisted Living Facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a dietitian seeking flexible, low-hour consulting work that makes a meaningful impact on resident wellness and quality of care.

• Facility Type: Assisted Living Facility
  

• Schedule: Flexible
  

• Hours: 6-8 hours per quarter (1 on-site visit per quarter)
  

• Compensation: $40.00–$46.00 per hour (based on experience)
  

• Travel Reimbursement: Paid in addition to hourly rate for travel time to and from the facility Mileage reimbursement

• Review and approve menus for regular and therapeutic diets to ensure compliance with nutrition standards.
  

• Conduct periodic kitchen audits to assess food service operations, sanitation, and safety practices.
  

• Identify residents at nutritional risk and complete periodic nutrition assessments as needed.
  

• Collaborate with facility staff to provide recommendations that enhance meal quality and resident satisfaction.
  

• Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  

• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  

  
  
  

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (required).
  

• Experience reviewing menus and conducting audits in assisted living or long-term care settings preferred.
  

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  

• Comfortable using electronic documentation and menu systems.
  

• Ability to maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics at all times.
