Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Water Transfer role based in Kilgore, TX. The Water Transfer team member is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring water transfer systems, including hoses, pumps, manifolds, and tanks, to support frac and other field operations. Daily tasks include inspecting equipment, performing basic maintenance, monitoring flow rates and pressures, and ensuring that water transfer activities are conducted safely and in compliance with company procedures and environmental guidelines. The role involves working closely with supervisors, field crews, and customers to coordinate job requirements, respond to changing site conditions, and document work performed. The position requires regular physical labor in outdoor environments, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed to meet project demands.
Qualifications
- Experience in water transfer operations, including setting up and operating pumps, hoses, and related field equipment.
- Knowledge of basic mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting of pumps and fluid systems, and safe equipment handling.
- Understanding of oil and gas field operations, environmental best practices, and site safety standards.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail, reliable time management, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with supervisors, crew members, and customers on-site.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; willingness to travel locally between job sites as required.
- Previous experience in oilfield services, construction, or industrial field work is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent education is beneficial; safety training certifications (e.g., H2S, OSHA) are a plus.
