What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nutrition Program Manager position at RCO Management INC?
This is a remote position.
Job Summary:
A health professional who creates nutrition plans to improve the health and physical conditions of patients by analyzing patients’ health status, goals and dietary restrictions, tracking clients’ dietary intake and progress and educating patients on how to maintain a balanced diet.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide medical nutrition therapy and counseling to patients.
- Speaking to patients to learn about their health goals and dietary needs, preferences, and restrictions.
- Developing nutrition plans for clients.
- Compiling information and tracking client progress towards their health goals.
- Entering patient information patient database.
- Keeping informed about the latest discoveries in nutrition.
- Speaking to groups to promote healthy eating habits and proper nutrition.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of patients or employees.
- Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Education and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- A master’s degree in nutrition is preferred.
- At least 3 years of patient experience is required.
- Must have experience working in a telehealth environment.
- Must be a registered dietician (RD) or registered dietician nutritionist (RDN).
Salary : $90,000 - $95,000
