Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including maintenance, leasing, and tenant relations.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, including knowledge of Section 8 guidelines.
- Utilize property management software such as OneSite for data entry, reporting, and tenant communication.
- Coordinate maintenance requests through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure timely responses.
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing ones.
- Handle lease agreements, renewals, and terminations in accordance with legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, communications, and property-related documents.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for maintenance services while negotiating contracts effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administration is preferred.
- Strong understanding of relevant laws governing property management practices.
- Experience using OneSite or similar property management software is advantageous.
- Excellent phone etiquette and strong communication skills for effective tenant interactions.
- Demonstrated administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Sales experience is beneficial for promoting properties and enhancing tenant retention strategies.
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to providing exceptional support to tenants.
