General Description:
- Performs labor tasks as assigned.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Understand and follow company and industry safety rules, practices, and procedures. Must be able and willing to understand and apply safety rules, practice safe work habits, identify safety risks, and avoid potentially risky behaviors and situations
- Clean and maintain work areas.
- Communicate at intervals and upon request
Duties:
- Burn and cut steel
- Sort and handle materials
- Various labor duties
- Ensure compliance with all applicable rules, regulations and policies.
Schedule: 5 days a week, 40-45 hours per week, some weekends may be required, flexible during winter and summer seasons
On a post-offer basis, RCL Track Services will conduct an investigation into newly hired employees regarding their past employment, state and federal criminal history, military history, driving history, education, professional license or certification verification if job-related, Social Security number, prior drug history, and other job-related information.
Individuals with felony and/or misdemeanor convictions may not be hired.
- Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- In addition, the company conducts for-cause, post-accident, and random drug and alcohol testing of its employees.
