Starting Pay Rate: $20.20 per hour ($36,764 a year)
35 Hour Work Week

Job Duties:
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Responsible for maintaining knowledge of the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) Self Direction (SD) program’s regulations and requirements related to expense reimbursements.
- Review incoming SD reimbursement to ensure OPWDD regulatory compliance
- Maintain an updated knowledgebase of program regulations and requirements pertaining to reimbursements
- Communicate timely and effectively with staff, participants, designated representatives, and brokers for necessary clarification when reviewing reimbursements.
- Verify reimbursements against budgets and determine fund availability.
- Code approved invoices with appropriate general ledger codes.
- Provide solutions for disputed invoices.
- Provide excellent customer service.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associate Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience working in an environment which requires strong attention to detail and the ability to make decisions independently is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Problem solving.
- Microsoft Office, Excel and database experience required.
- Strong organizational, time management and mathematical skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with a diverse populations.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations and identify the need for escalation.
