We’re Recourse Communications and we match top talent with top opportunities. The Purchasing Manager is a results-driven leader of both process and people. In this role, you will plan and maintain a vast portfolio of inventory across multiple regions from multiple vendors. You will support the coordination of activities involving procurement, production, sourcing, inventory control, distribution, and transportation to optimize the supply chain and sales. In a leadership capacity, you will collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives to reduce costs and drive KPI results. Additionally, you will communicate “SMART” goals, set expectations, and present results of the team. Effectively, you will handle multiple projects and initiatives while prioritizing accordingly to ensure business expectations and timelines are met. You should expect to develop new and maintain existing KPI Scorecards that measure performance of both internal and external (vendor) operations.
To Qualify:
· BA/BS degree or equivalent industry experience required
· 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, or demand planning (Primary focus on procurement component)
· Experience in Beauty/CPG industry is a plus
· High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point, Oracle NetSuite, Cognos, Demand Planning, ERP, or comparable systems experience a plus
· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills in data analysis and reporting
· Ability to navigate processes and transact purchases and movement of goods within a system
· Possess organization, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently, on a team, and as a leader
