Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and a passion for working with children of various ages, including infants and preschoolers. Duties
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide care for infants, including feeding, diaper changing, and comforting.
- Plan and implement educational activities that foster creativity, social skills, and cognitive development.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment that is conducive to learning and play.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Ensure the safety of all children by adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Assist children with daily routines such as meals, naps, and personal hygiene.
- Support children with disabilities by providing individualized attention and care as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years old and a high school graduate
- Experience in childcare settings such as classrooms, preschools, or babysitting is preferred.
- Background in early childhood education or related fields is an advantage.
- Familiarity with infant care practices is essential.
- Ability to work effectively with children of varying ages and developmental stages.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children and families.
- Patience, creativity, and a nurturing attitude towards children's needs.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is beneficial but not required.
