LPN Weekend Warrior Supervisor
Rate: $30.00/hr.
Work both scheduled weekend shifts and receive an additional 13.5 hours pay!!!
Shift: Saturday and Sunday 7AM to 7:30PM
JOB DESCRIPTION:
LPNs promote residents' health, wellness, and illness prevention through daily nursing and personal care endeavors. An LPN works under the direction of a registered nurse and is responsible for handling a diverse range of tasks, including administering treatment or medications, performing clinical procedures, documenting clinical data of patients, and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures the care and safety of all residents in the nursing unit
- Ensures that individual care plans are followed
- Administers and documents medications, treatments, and other nursing services
- Makes a count of controlled substances on the assigned nursing unit
- Records current condition of assigned resident in EMR
- Receives and gives an accurate report of the resident condition at shift change
- Communicates to the nursing team and medical provider as indicated and required
- Assists in the orientation of new staff
- Maintains competency in all the tasks needed by CMS
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- New York State Licensed Practical Nurse licensure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic computer knowledge, PCC e-MAR experience preferred
- Physical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds
