Investment Manager

Job Summary

Duties

• Manage client portfolios with a focus on asset allocation, diversification, and cash management to optimize returns
• Provide expert guidance on estate planning, wills, trusts, and estate law to support comprehensive wealth management solutions
• Ensure compliance with securities law and regulatory requirements across all investment activities
• Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs, offering personalized advice on financial planning and sales opportunities
• Monitor portfolio performance regularly, adjusting strategies as needed to meet evolving market conditions and client goals
• Utilize advanced financial software for analysis, reporting, and client communication to enhance service delivery
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial concepts including tax strategies, corporate accounting, technical accounting standards, and public accounting practices

Qualifications

• Proven experience in investment management or financial services with a strong understanding of securities law and compliance standards
• Extensive knowledge of estate planning, wills, trusts & estate law, tax experience, and wealth management principles
• Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, research methodologies, and portfolio management techniques
• Strong background in financial concepts such as cash management, banking operations, asset management, and corporate accounting
• Proficiency with financial software tools used for analysis and reporting purposes
• Excellent customer relationship management skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly
• Solid foundation in math and technical accounting practices necessary for accurate financial assessments
• Experience in sales within the financial sector is a plus but not mandatory; a proactive approach to client engagement is essential
