About the Role:
RC Griffin LLC is looking for a skilled and driven Commercial Carpenter / Site Supervisor to join our growing team in Danvers, MA. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll bring craftsmanship and coordination together to deliver outstanding commercial projects. Responsibilities:
- Perform skilled commercial carpentry work including framing, finish work, doors, hardware, and interior buildouts
- Supervise and coordinate on-site crews to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to spec
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications
- Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients regarding daily progress and site needs
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and code compliance
- Manage material deliveries, tool inventory, and on-site logistics
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively to keep projects on schedule
Requirements:
- 5 years of commercial carpentry experience required
- Prior site supervision or lead carpenter experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
- Strong knowledge of commercial building codes and OSHA safety standards
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification a plus
- If a supervisor, should have CSL license
- Within 1 hour of the Danvers Massachusetts office
