What are the responsibilities and job description for the Highest Paid FedEx Ground Delivery Driver position at RC Distribution Inc.?

What is the JOB?
- Full Time - Delivering packages for FedEx
- 150 to 220 stops daily (all deliveries, maybe 1 to 5 pickups)
- 5 day work week - optional 6th and 7th day available
- Service area: Seattle - University of Washington Area
- FedEx terminal is in Auburn, WA where you will START and STOP
What is the PAY?
- Higher of $1100 per week or $1.60 per stop (assuming 5 day work week)
- Most of our drivers make anywhere from $1300 to $1900 per week
- This is GROSS pay not NET - meaning this is BEFORE taxes
- Training rate of $750 per week (training is until you are able to service the route yourself)
What are the BENEFITS?
- 5 days paid vacation (up to 10 days with good service)
- 5 major holidays paid
What is the GOOD about the job?
- Highly condensed area
- All stops are GPS mapped/follow
- Potential to earn up to $2000/week depending on number of stops services
- You will work anywhere from 7 to 9 hours per day, 5 days per week.
- Work and hours are consistent - FedEx is not going anywhere.
What is the BAD about the job?
- Traffic from Auburn, WA terminal to the University of Washington Area in Seattle and and back
- It is a physically demanding job
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license (CDL not required but must have clean driving record)
- Legally allowed to work in the US
- Pass criminal background check
- Pass a drug test (includes marijuana) with continued random drug screens throughout employment
- Pass a DOT physical
- SAFE Driver - No aggressive drivers
- Be able to safely lift/carry up to 75 lbs
- Have reliable transportation to and from work -️ Be on time and ready to work each workday
- Strong work ethic, show up everyday and provide consistent service
