A global creative agency is looking for a senior creative leader to step into a pivotal maternity cover role leading its US business and acting as the senior creative authority in New York.

This is not a traditional oversight role. It’s a hands-on leadership position for someone who can lead from the front — creatively, commercially, and operationally.


The role:


They are looking for someone to take full ownership of a major global tech account in the US — leading creative output, building senior client relationships, and driving growth on the ground in NYC.

You’ll operate as the most senior creative presence in the US, working in close partnership with a UK-based leadership team while owning day-to-day delivery, direction and client partnership stateside.


This is a doer-leader role. You’ll need to be equally comfortable setting the vision and getting into the detail.


Creative leadership (core focus)

  • Own and be accountable for all creative output — from brief to final delivery
  • Lead, review and elevate work across integrated campaigns (film, social, experiential, OOH and beyond)
  • Present, sell and defend ideas at senior client level
  • Translate complex briefs into clear, high-impact creative responses
  • Direct on set, lead shoots, shape content in real time

Senior client partnership

  • Build and own relationships with senior stakeholders in New York
  • Act as a strategic partner, not just a delivery lead
  • Lead key conversations including reviews, QBRs and escalation points

Growth & commercial impact

  • Identify and unlock new opportunities within an existing global account
  • Play a visible role in winning and growing business
  • Contribute to broader US growth across both B2B and B2C workstreams

US leadership & operations

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team across NYC and the UK
  • Own the NY presence day-to-day — from team to creative output
  • Build and maintain a strong freelance and talent pipeline locally


Your Profile:


  • A proven Creative Director / Creative Partner with experience leading global accounts in-market
  • Strong background in B2B marketing, ideally within tech or ads marketing ecosystems
  • Track record of presenting and selling work at senior client level
  • Experience working across integrated campaigns and multiple channels
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-pressure environments (newsroom-style / iterative workflows)
  • Demonstrated ability to drive growth and open new opportunities within accounts
  • Experience working across global teams and time zones
