Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Assembler and Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for final assembly of farm implements and trailer axles. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for operating a telehandler to unload trucks, move equipment/inventory and load customer trucks in an outdoor environment. Must be kind and patient with customers. The ideal candidate will also be required to assist with phone and in-person customer service as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately assemble farm implements and trailer axles in a timely manner
- Safely and efficiently operate a telehandler to transport equipment/inventory around the outdoor lot and in the indoor shop
- Load and unload equipment from trailers
- Assist in customer service as needed
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Equipment Assembler or in a similar role
- Prior experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment with clean safety record
- Ability to work with a small, versatile team
- Ability to lift heavy objects
Skills:
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Load/unload capabilities
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation
- Basic customer service
- Basic phone and computer program operation
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
