What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor- Provo (Temporary) position at RBM Building Services?
RBM Services, INC: 1515 Riverside Avenue, Provo, Utah 84604. Janitor: Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include tending furnace and boiler, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs. Lift up to 50 lbs. No education required/ No experience required. On the job training. $15.34/hr. $23.01/hr. O.T. Pay will not fall below the minimum wage rate required. 8am-5pm, M-F, 40-hour workweek. Some O.T. and weekends may be available. 130 positions available for Peak Load work 02/18/2026-10/01/2026. Utah County area job sites. Transportation provided to and from area job sites from a central Utah County area pick up location within a 50-mile MSA. Employer will use a single work week for computing wages due. Pay will be bi-weekly. Pay per piece rate will be equal to or higher than the listed wage above. Assistance finding and securing lodging is available. Employer will make all deductions required by law from each paycheck.
If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68 per day with receipts.
H2B workers will be reimbursed by check for visa and related fees in the first workweek. Employer will provide, without charge or deposit, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job duties. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least ¾ of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment
