Job Description
(1) Legal (70%)
· Assist attorney in employment-based immigrant & non-immigrant petition preparation, case intake, & government filings
· Produce written work product based on in-depth legal research and analysis
· Handle client inquiries and proactively communicate with clients
· Handle time sensitive cases, meeting assigned deadlines and monitor case progress
(2) Marketing (15%)
· Build firm’ s contact database
· Produce firm’s marketing /business development materials
(3) Internal Office Management (15%)
· General Office management - office upkeep and administration, vendor/IT management, etc.
· Organize internal office documents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in business immigration required
- Strong English writing skills (writing sample required)
- Japanese language skills a plus
Compensation
- Commensurate with experience (Salary range $55,000~$75,000)
Work Schedule
- Full-time, Hybrid (must be able to commute to New York City office 2-3 times a week)
