Position Overview
The Loan Officer / Account Executive is responsible for originating, structuring, and managing private real estate loans, primarily focused on investor-driven transactions (Fix & Flip, Ground-Up Construction, Bridge, and DSCR loans). This role serves as a strategic partner to real estate investors, brokers, and referral partners while driving loan volume, portfolio quality, and long-term relationship growth.
The ideal candidate blends sales acumen, underwriting knowledge, and investor awareness, with a strong understanding of private lending credit, collateral-based risk, and deal structuring.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate and close residential and/or commercial mortgage loans.
- Build and manage a personal book of business through self-generated leads and referrals.
- Guide clients through the loan application and approval process, ensuring a smooth and compliant experience.
- Analyze financial documents and credit reports to assess borrower eligibility.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of loan products, underwriting guidelines, and market trends.loan products, underwriting guidelines, and
- Collaborate with internal processing, underwriting, and closing teams to ensure timely and accurate loan execution.
- Attend networking events, real estate functions, and community outreach to generate new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, loan progress, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in Private Lending for Real Estate Investments or Loans or mortgage loans.
- Proven experience with Bridge, Fix & Flip, DSCR, and Ground-Up Construction loan products.
- Proven track record of loan origination and closing volume in investor-focused real estate lending.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong understanding of loan origination and underwriting processes.
- Established book of business specializing in RTL (Residential Transition Loans) or DSCR (Debt-Service Coverage Ratio) loans.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple client accounts effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
