Essential Functions of the job:
- Develop and implement material management strategies to optimize inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials.
- Coordinate with production planning to forecast material requirements and ensure adequate stock levels.
- Supervise a team of material handlers and warehouse staff to ensure efficient and accurate handling of materials.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize waste, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to secure cost-effective and timely supply of materials.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to materials management to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all material handling activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in materials management within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, procurement processes, and supply chain management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Proficient in using as400 and other relevant software for materials management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
- 5 years experience in supply chain/materials/production control
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident [“green card” holders] or have refugee or asylee status.

The pay range represents the low and high end of the salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, education, skills, qualifications, performance, and business or organizational needs.
Pay Range: $75,000 to $85,000
