What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance & Facilities Manager position at RBC?
Additionally has overall responsibility for the grounds and facility maintenance such as repairs, maintenance of the building including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building repair and maintenance and security. Will oversee grounds and parking lot maintenance and cleaning.
Principal Responsibilities
- Directly and Supervise the activities of maintenance mechanic and electrician on staff.
- Schedule daily maintenance activities throughout each day.
- Assure adequate staff to support the daily manufacturing operations.
- Identify, develop and implement manufacturing methods improvements and systems. Will work closely with Manufacturing Development and Facilities Manager daily to assure facility is running smoothly.
- Responsible for managing department activities to assure the timely completion and follow-up of long range, complex manufacturing engineering projects.
- Keeps appraised of new technologies, manufacturing equipment, cutting tools, and methods used to improve efficiency of manufacturing processes.
- Assure compliance with state DEP and federal EPA and OSHA regulations.
