JOB TITLE/LOCATION:
Intern – Oxford, CT
DESCRIPTION:
Gain professional experience within our Corporate Legal team. Interns will be expected to perform duties based on their level of curriculum completion.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Learn the essential principles of contract law, intellectual property, or other areas of interest.
- Analyze & negotiate confidentiality agreements and other basic agreements.
- Assist in the process of patent and/or trademark prosecution.
- Legal research.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Attendance is an essential function of this position.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
- Pursuing a Juris Doctor or LL.M. degree
- Excellent reading, verbal and written communication skills
- MS Office proficient
- Experience with group work environments
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of this position.
