Multi skilled contractor needed for commercial and residential construction and service. A valid driver's license is required. Pay will depend on skills and abilities. This is a full-time position 8-4 Monday - Friday with the opportunity for additional hours on the weekend if clients need arises for emergency situations. This position has paid holidays, paid vacation, structured bonus program, health insurance, company van and GAS, and 401K, Duties will include the following:
- Commerical and Residential service
- Supervision of subcontractors assigned to projects
- Tenant fit-outs and renovations of existing units
- Residential renovations and additions
- Remodeling and/or retrofitting
- The ideal candidate will have 3 years' experience
- Ability for growth and leadership opportunities
The Contruction Technician performs skilled work in both commercial and residential the installation, operation, modification, service and repair of drywall or other areas that need service. Our general construction technicians are responsible for all types of maintenance and repairs in the field according to specifications,
REQUIREMENTS:
Successful candidates for the role of general construction technician are highly motivated, skilled technicians who are able to solve problems on site. Our general construction technicians have vast knowledge and skills and go above and beyond in providing a high level of customer service. Must focus on detail and organization, great attitude and be dependable. The higher your skill level in a variety of phases of construction are a bonus.
- Carpentry skills
- Trim work
- Installation of doors, windows, and hardware
- Cabinet and millwork installation
- Drywall repair
- Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and organization skills
- Proven “hands-on” troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with use of electronic project management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
