What is the Opportunity?

The role will support the Healthcare Investment Banking Team at RBC Capital Markets.

What will you do?

• Lead deal execution across M&A, capital markets and leveraged finance transactions
• Partner with senior bankers to lead development of new business presentations in an effort to increase the breath of client relationships
• Working with Associates and Analysts in development of pitch books and other process-related client materials
• Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities
• Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business. Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis

What do you need to succeed?

• Bachelor's degree and MBA, MA or MS or equivalent with emphasis in finance/accounting

• Minimum of 5 years of Investment Banking experience with previous experience in the Healthcare space being highly desired

• Solid understanding of banking products, capital markets and spreadsheet modeling

• Outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of finance and accounting

• Highly motivated with demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requests

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to take initiative and function independently, balanced with teaming skills when necessary

• Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at all levels of organization

• Must maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct

• Series 79 & 63 licensed

The good-faith expected salary for the above position is $275,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
