What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool/Gage Designer position at RBC Aircraft Products, Inc.?
The purpose of this position is to provide gage design for the development of new products and maintenance of legacy products including bearings and multi-component assemblies
Principal Responsibilities
- Work as part of an Engineering team to design gauging/tooling for new products involving bearings and multi-component assemblies to meet the needs of a variety of existing and new customers.
- Lead the development of 3-D models and drawings to support new product development gauging/tooling activities as well as engineering changes to existing products related to gauging capability.
- Provide support to Manufacturing.
- Develop and maintain gage/Tool designs & gage procedures.
Qualifications:
An A.S. in Design Engineering plus 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent on-the-job experience
