Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, assist with their inquiries, and provide outstanding service to enhance their shopping experience.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for cash handling, sales transactions, and returns while maintaining accuracy in cash register operations.
• Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation, inventory checks, and store security protocols.
• Supervise daily store activities during your shift, including stocking shelves, merchandising products, and ensuring the store remains organized and inviting.
• Support inventory management through stock replenishment, inventory control, and participating in regular stock audits to prevent loss.
• Assist in training new team members on customer service standards, POS systems, and operational procedures.
• Uphold store policies on pricing accuracy, promotional displays, and safety regulations to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales management or supervisory roles within the retail industry.
• Strong cashiering skills with expertise in POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities preferred for diverse customer interactions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through employee orientation, training & development initiatives, and managerial communication.
• Skilled in inventory management, merchandising, stock control, and operational management to optimize store performance.
• Proficient in basic math for cash reconciliation, sales calculations, and pricing adjustments.
• Experience with recruiting or interviewing potential team members is a plus for supporting staffing needs.
• Knowledge of retail industry sales strategies including marketing techniques and promotional planning.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during shift management or busy periods.
• Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $10.00 - $1,300.00 per hour
