Quality Engineer
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Development of technical publications, quality program plans, inspection instructions, and customer/supplier liaison correspondence
- First article submission including all supporting documentation
- SPC data analysis
- Failure analysis reporting
- Development and submission of CDRL/SDRL documents
Education and Experience:
- Experience in DOD contracting preferred but not required.
- ISO experience preferred.
- Configuration management
- Candidate should be proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing per ASME Y 14.5M including the ability to interpret detailed engineering specifications and drawings, perform verifications of detailed precision parts including complete lay-outs
- Educational requirements consist of a technical degree.. ie.. BS in Mechanical, MET, Industrial or Industrial Technology.
- Extensive experience/training that can be demonstrated in the specific fields could be considered an equivalent in lieu of the degree requirement.
- Ability to train and supervise personnel.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Statistical Process Control software
- Experience in quality management systems (ISO/AS)
- Experience in quality system auditing
- Desire to own decisions and take responsibility for outcomes

- Standard Operating Procedures / Quality Instructions – Specific to job and/or program
- Willingness to continually embrace and professional development
Physical Job Demands:
- Light to heavy physical effort required. Some lifting required.
- Continuous mental and visual attention required
