Overview
As the Group Vice President of Search at Razorfish, you will be responsible for leading the overall vision and direction of our search marketing practice on a global scale. This executive role will involve overseeing multiple teams and ensuring that our search strategies are aligned with both client objectives and the broader goals of the organization. You will champion innovation in search marketing, demonstrating advanced technologies and data analytics to deliver exceptional results for clients. Compensation Range: $176,700 - $276,210. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. The Company anticipates the application deadline for this job posting will be 1/31/26.

- Global Oversight: Oversee the operations of the search marketing practice across multiple regions, ensuring consistency in strategy, execution, and client experience.
- Innovation and Best Practices: Drive innovation in search marketing, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and the adoption of innovative technologies, including AI and machine learning.
- Client Engagement: Engage with major clients to understand their strategic goals, providing high-level insights and search solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with leadership across departments to enhance integrated marketing efforts and ensure coherence in client strategies.
- Team Leadership and Mentorship: Lead, inspire, and develop a high-caliber team of search professionals, promoting a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results.
- Thought Leadership and Representation: Represent Razorfish at industry conferences and events, contributing to the agency’s stature as an inspiring leader in search marketing through speaking engagements and published content.
- Financial and Operational Oversight: Direct budget management and profitability for the search practice, aligning resources with strategic priorities and ensuring efficient operations.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the search space, collaborating with executive leadership to drive growth initiatives and enhance service offerings.
- Trend Analysis and Adaptation: Monitor industry developments, market trends, and competitive dynamics to ensure the search practice remains at the groundbreaking of the industry.
- 5 years of experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and digital marketing, with a robust track record of strategic execution in search.
- 10 years of leadership experience, with proven success in managing large teams and driving strategic initiatives across multiple business units.
- Exceptional client-service orientation, demonstrating a strong ability to build and maintain high-level client relationships.
- Advanced analytical capabilities, with a strong foundation in data-driven decision-making and the ability to translate insights into impactful strategies.
- Thorough understanding of integrated digital marketing, including paid search, organic search, social media, and emerging digital media opportunities.
- Proficient in advanced analytics and marketing tools, with a keen understanding of AI and its application in search marketing.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in articulating complex concepts to executive and non-executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in business development, with a focus on creating and capitalizing on growth opportunities.
- Innovative and strategic mindset, committed to leveraging new technology to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Passionate about mentoring and developing talent, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture within the organization.
