Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The Respiratory Therapist will provide care to patients with breathing disorders and work closely with doctors and nurses to develop treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of respiratory care techniques and be committed to improving the quality of life for their patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy and breathing exercises
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and treatment options
- Collaborate with doctors and nurses to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow all regulatory requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
