Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The primary goal of the Occupational Therapist is to help individuals improve their ability to perform daily activities and reach their full potential in their personal and professional lives. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional well-being to determine individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy and rehabilitation services to help patients regain independence and function in daily activities
- Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement treatment goals
- Educate patients and caregivers on techniques and equipment to improve mobility and overall quality of life
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- State licensure as a Registered Occupational Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with a diverse patient population
