Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Inpatient Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide physical therapy services to patients in a hospital setting to help improve mobility, relieve pain, and restore function. This position requires a passion for helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate and assess patients' physical condition to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Develop and implement personalized therapy programs to address patients' needs and goals
- Monitor patients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their caregivers on exercises and techniques to continue at home
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay current on best practices and advances in physical therapy techniques
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification
- Proven experience working with inpatients in a hospital setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
