We are looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from planning and scheduling to budgeting and quality control. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction management, excavation experience, ability to read blueprints, excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, a willingness to train, and the ability to work with a wide variety of people. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of subcontractors and other personnel on the job site.
- Set daily benchmarks and assure they are achieved.
- Ensure that all safety regulations are followed.
- Ensure that all construction materials and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures.
- Schedule and coordinate construction activities to meet deadlines.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Develop relationships with employees, vendors, subcontractors, general contractors, utilities, inspectors, customers, etc.
- Adhere to city, county, and state regulations.
- Read blueprints and forecast labor and materials.
