We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Screen Print Manager to oversee and optimize our screen printing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on screen printing experience, strong production management skills, and the ability to lead teams while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and productivity.
This role is responsible for managing daily production activities, optimizing workflows, coordinating resources, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving operational performance, minimizing production bottlenecks, and ensuring products are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
Previous screen printing experience is mandatory for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily screen printing operations, including production planning, scheduling, quality control, and workflow optimization.
- Manage production activities using ERP systems, SAP, MRP, and other manufacturing management tools to ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Monitor production performance and analyze data using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools to identify bottlenecks and improve productivity.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other process improvement techniques.
- Lead, train, and develop production staff while promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with supply chain, assembly, quality assurance, and other departments to meet production targets and delivery schedules.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and equipment-related issues to minimize downtime and maintain consistent production output.
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, forecasts, material availability, and manufacturing capacity.
- Monitor quality standards and implement corrective actions to reduce defects, waste, and production costs.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, streamline processes, and maximize equipment utilization.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing, plant management, or production management within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience in screen printing is required.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, workflow management, and supply chain coordination.
- Experience using ERP, SAP, MRP, or comparable manufacturing management systems.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage cross-functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and quality control methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for production reporting, data analysis, and performance monitoring.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting screen printing equipment are highly desirable.
- A proven track record of implementing process improvements that increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
