The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) organization is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon, responsible for defining customer needs, functional and product architecture, requirements definition and decomposition, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), system performance, and System Security Engineering (SSE).

The Radar Systems Department within the SE&TC is seeking a Radar Digital Product Line (RDPL) Jira Manager to manage RPL schedule in Jira. This role will require communication skills to convey solutions and results to teammates and leadership.

This position can be located in either Tewksbury, MA or Marlborough, MA and may require occasional travel.

What You Will Do:

• Control master RPL schedule in Jira

• Assist in increment planning to get RPL and program plans aligned

• Jira interface with the programs to make sure providing complete data to the product line

• Make sure Jira linking is correct in the model

• Make sure RPL planning is complete

• Resolve inconsistencies across RPL disciplines (DCTI example: all DCTI SW should have corresponding requirements)

• Assist CAMs to put in financial information in Jira

• Continuous improvement of Jira scheduling process

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.

• An active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

• Experience with Jira

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Understand program planning to be able to identify what is missing based on rules

• Communication and coordination skills

• Proficiency in Jira (some training possible)

• Detail oriented

• Organized

• Comfortable with the complexities

• Understanding of Agile

• Understand SW/SE/SIT processes

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
