What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping / Receiving / Warehouse position at RAYTECH USA INC?
Responsibilities
- Prepare and arrange all outgoing shipments, create detailed packing lists to document the shipment
- Receive, inspect, & document all incoming material and check the paperwork for accuracy, transport to correct department.
- Coordinate with freight carriers and logistics companies for pickup.
- Assist with the pulling of inventory for all jobs. Stage material in the various designated job staging areas
- Perform quarterly inventory and place purchase order requisitions as needed.
- Maintain and organize the shipping/receiving area and stock room in a clean, and orderly fashion for the efficient and safe functioning of the department
- Assist with inspection of lift truck. Report when service or repairs are necessary
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED and applicable years of work-related experience
- Possess valid driver’s license / Fork Truck Certification or preferred experience
- Reliable, organized and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively balance multiple tasks and priorities
- Previous warehouse or shipping and receiving experience preferred
- International Shipping experience preferred.
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift to 50 lbs. and work around material handling equipment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
