What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Ticket Operations position at Rays Baseball Club LLC?
The Ticket Operations Manager assists with all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the Ticketing Department and works with the Director, Ticket Sales & Service to maintain a professional, organized, and customer-friendly work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Reconcile and maintain all financial reports associated with the Ticket Office
- Hire, train, and schedule part-time box office event staff
- Update senior management regarding best practices and new technology
- Manage customer database and develop strategies to collect additional information
- Responsible for the fulfillment of Tampa Bay Rowdies season, group, and individual ticket requests
- Assist in the implementation and creation of online ticketing promotions
- Support any ticketed concerts, special events, and promotions held at Al Lang Stadium
- Generate reports based on promotions, sales, inventory, etc.
- Build out all soccer and non-soccer events for Al Lang Stadium
- Support Sales Team and Ownership team with reports and database maintenance
- Research issues concerning customer accounts, ticket printing, and internet and online purchases
- Coordinate customer mail outs throughout the year
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in Ticket Operations
- Previous experience with Tickets.com system is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills
- Well-organized, self-motivated, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Flexibility to travel and adjust hours to work home games and other events, including weekends and holidays
