A well-established international freight forwarder is looking to add an experienced Ocean Export Coordinator to its growing Chicago team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end ocean export shipments (FCL & LCL)
- Coordinate bookings with carriers, agents, and clients
- Prepare and process export documentation (B/L, AES filings, invoices, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations
- Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers
- Resolve any shipment issues proactively and efficiently
- Work closely with internal teams including pricing and operations
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 years’ experience in ocean export within a freight forwarding environment
- Strong knowledge of export documentation and compliance
- Experience handling FCL and LCL shipments
- Familiarity with systems such as CargoWise (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with a customer-focused mindset
