Overview
We are seeking a dependable, hands-on individual to perform entry-level forklift repairs and maintenance while helping maintain our facility and factory equipment. This position will work alongside and assist experienced staff with repairs, maintenance, and general facility upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot issues with our fleet of forklifts and maintain organized maintenance records for each unit.
- Perform in-house forklift repairs and routine maintenance when possible.
- Maintain the facility, including changing light bulbs, cleaning and organizing work areas, painting walls and doors, and completing other general maintenance tasks.
- Maintain factory equipment by performing scheduled greasing and lubrication, ordering and replacing wear parts, and assisting with emergency repairs.
- Identify and address potential safety hazards and maintenance concerns.
- Work closely with experienced team members to learn new repair and maintenance skills.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and keep operations running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience or working knowledge of engine mechanics is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
