Responsibilities
Working with and under the supervision of a Senior Professional Engineer, you will:
- Produce complete civil site design plans, including grading, utilities, stormwater systems, and roadway layouts.
- Prepare engineering calculations for stormwater modeling, utility design, earthwork, drainage, water/wastewater, and erosion control.
- Develop and manage permitting packages for local governments and regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, surveyors, and agency reviewers.
- Assist with cost estimating, construction support, and responding to review comments.
- Contribute to project scheduling, task management, and quality control.
- Support strong client relationships through reliable, accurate project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- EI certification required; PE preferred but not required.
- 2–5 years of civil land development engineering experience.
- Working knowledge in AutoCAD Civil 3D for site design. Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience with stormwater modeling tools (ICPR/Stormwise, BMPTrains, and WaterCAD).
- Working knowledge of Florida’s permitting processes and design standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience preparing full land development plan sets.
- Strong technical writing ability (reports, calculations, narratives).
- Experience coordinating with reviewing agencies.
- Other relevant technical certifications (CFM, SQuInT, etc.)

Salary : $70,000 - $95,000
