Bill of Materials (BOM) Specialist
Full-Time
Raydeo Enterprises is seeking an experienced Bill of Materials (BOM) Specialist to serve as the critical link between our Estimating and Purchasing departments. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of millwork, metalwork, fabrication processes, and material procurement.

Key Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and maintain project-level Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and approved submittals to accurately quantify materials.
- Author and maintain item records within the Innergy material database.
- Obtain and organize vendor quotes, product information, photos, SDS documents, and supporting technical data.
- Coordinate material selections, finishes, hardware, and procurement requirements across departments.
- Track material lead times and communicate schedule impacts.
- Reconcile budgeted versus actual materials within project budgets.
- Support project teams by researching materials, vendors, subcontractors, and alternative products.
- Identify potential material-related change orders and cost impacts.
- Assist with estimating support, budget analysis, and surplus material utilization.
- Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Drafting, Estimating, Project Management, and Production teams.
Required:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in purchasing, fabrication, millwork, metalwork, or a related industry.
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specification packages.
- Experience with BOM creation, auditing, and material takeoffs.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/manufacturing software systems.
- Ability to pass a drug screening in accordance with Georgia Drug-Free Workplace requirements.
- Experience with Innergy, Bluebeam, Microvellum, or similar industry software.
- Knowledge of industry standards including AWI, NAAMM, NOMMA, AWS, ICC, and related specifications.
- ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP) is a plus but not required.
