We are seeking 1 or 2 Construction Safety Managers to join our team for the upcoming outage at IP Riverdale. We are looking for 2 Day shift personal. These roles are crucial in overseeing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulations at construction sites. The ideal candidate will play a key role in fostering a culture of safety that aligns with our company’s mission.
Responsibilities
- Implement comprehensive safety programs for construction projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices and procedures.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety into all aspects of construction management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction safety management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and EHS regulations.
- Excellent risk management skills with the ability to assess potential hazards effectively.
- Strong communication skills for effective training and collaboration with teams.
OSHA 30 REQUIRED!!!!
Capable to stand for long periods of time.
Will have to report to site and make mandatory meetings where you may be required to speak.
