Job Summary
We're a dentist recruiting company working with a family dental office that is seeking an associate dentist. The office is a private one, that has built a wonderful reputation in the community over several decades.
This office is committed to providing wonderful patient care. It is a fee for service and PPO office, with no capitation. General restorative procedures like crown and bridge, extractions, restorations, some removables, is all that is required. If a dentist is proficient in endodontics and placing implants that is a plus but not required. They can offer excellent mentoring!
This is a state of the art office with a great team of hygienists, assistants and front desk. They're seeking a full time dentist, but would consider part time as well.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including but not limited to root canal therapy, oral surgery, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize medical imaging technologies to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care.
- Stay current with advancements in dental techniques and technologies through continuous education.
Experience
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience in performing various dental procedures, including root canal therapy and oral surgery.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Epic is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- A commitment to providing compassionate care while adhering to ethical standards in dentistry.
