SUMMARY: The position of Shipping/Receiving Supervisor (Frozen/Cool) will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day shift activities of the warehouse frozen/cool side, including general warehouse functions, inventory tracking and support of production. This position will report to the Shipping and Receiving Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Management of inbound receipts and outbound freight.
- Review Bills of Lading and orders and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules.
- Inventory accuracy and efficient management of warehouse area.
- Assist in maintaining accuracy of inventory levels.
- Supervise the daily operations of Shipping and Receiving staff in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Interface with scheduling and production activities.
- Oversee the implementation of the Shipping and Receiving Dept. SOP’s.
- Maintain and support on-going training programs.
- Ensure that all employees maintain a clean and safe working environment following all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Generate Bill of Ladings for shipments.
- Perform inventory audits as needed.
- Pull finished products as required to fill orders, as well as rotating products

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Computer proficient
- Detailed knowledge of the entire manufacturing process
- Ability to problem solve, multi-task, and communicate effectively with both subordinates as well as senior management
