Job Overview
In addition to hourly rate, this position offers comission based on collected dollars for warranty and internal writing.
Warranty Administrator
- Responsible for all New RV Check-ins/DAF’s, when new unit comes in from manufacturer – follow procedures
- Create repair order for DAF concerns place in distribution basket
- Track all repair orders to be sure they are completed in a timely manner
- Return and track warranty parts for credit
- Process payments from manufacturers
- Type up warranty claims for new units
- Process warranty claims for new units and customers who are under manufacturers’ warranty for the first year of ownership
- Work with warranty personnel from all manufacturers to make sure all warranty dollars are collected.
Internal Writer
- Creating, tracking, and closing out of all repair orders for new and used company owned vehicles (internal).
- Any work needed to be done on company owned vehicles requires a repair order to be created, most are created by sales managers, however on occasion, internal writer will create a repair order.
- Work closely with shop foreman to make sure all internal repair orders are completed in a timely manner or by delivery date.
- Work with sales manager in coordinating all deliveries of new and used company vehicles.
o Bill out all items used for delivery and make sure all items that need ordered are ordered and received, coordinate with customer if unit needs returned for items that were found at delivery and ordered.
o Make sure all parts that are needed for delivery are here prior to delivery date, including all hitch work, brake control and necessary harness. If customer is ordering accessories, make sure they are here for them.
- Ordering of parts needed for all internal repair orders for company owned vehicles.
Once part or item is ordered, expedite order for timeliness. Once part comes in check for accuracy, bill out part and receive in the dealer management system.
Parts/Other
- Assist the other parts personnel with ordering parts as necessary, including retail and warranty parts.
- Assist parts customers in our retail store area by finding and/or ordering parts and accessories.
- Assist in shipping and receiving parts and accessories
- Assist technicians in obtaining the correct parts needed to complete jobs, from store or from suppliers.
- Coordinate workflow of the prep department, make sure personnel are busy and working efficiently.
- Alternate with other personnel to make sure office area is covered on Saturday’s and lunch hours.
- Assist retail service writers with phone calls and customers as necessary.
- Other responsibilities given by upper management.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
